1. Start for free

All new users get a 1-day free trial, so you can explore Woz and build your first app without any commitment.

2. Describe your app

Spend as little as five minutes answering a few guided questions about:
  • What your app does
  • Who it’s for
  • The features you need
You don’t need technical experience. Just explain your idea in plain language.
Learn more about generating apps in our Generating apps guide.

3. Generate your app

Once you finish describing your app, Woz automatically generates a full-stack, business-quality mobile app, including:
  • App structure and navigation
  • Screens and core features
  • A backend and database

4. Review and iterate

From the App Preview page, you can:
  • Edit designs and features
  • Add new pages
  • Fix bugs
  • Restore previous versions
Learn more about editing your app in our Editing your apps guide.

5. Test your app on your phone

Once your app is generated, you can test it instantly on your device using the Woz iOS app. Download the app, sign in, and open your project to see how it looks and feels on a real phone. This is the best way to:
  • Experience the user flows end to end
  • Catch design or usability issues early
  • Share a live preview with teammates or stakeholders
Your app updates automatically as you make changes, so you can test and iterate in real time.
Learn more about previewing and sharing in our Preview and Share guide.

6. Publish your app to the app stores

When you’re ready to launch, Woz helps you submit to both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Once approved, your app will be live and available for users to download. You can continue making updates in Woz and ship improvements over time.
Learn more about publishing in our Publish to the App Store guide.
