Skip to main contentWhere editing happens
All editing starts on the App Preview page.
From here, you can:
- Make design and feature changes
- Add new pages or functionality
- Fix bugs automatically
- Connect external coding tools like Cursor and Claude Code
Video 1: Making edits and adding pages
This video walks through how to make everyday changes to your app.
Open the edit chat
- Go to the App Preview page
- Click the pencil icon next to your app
- This opens the Edit Chat, where you can describe what you want to change
Describe your edits
Type what you’d like updated in plain language. For example:
- “Change the highlight color from neon green to red.”
Unlike other AI-enabled vibecoding tools, Woz does not use tokens. That means you can make as many changes to your app as you would like without the uncertainty of what it will cost.
Focus your changes
Use the Focus Change dropdown to decide:
- Apply the change to a specific screen
- Apply it across the entire app
Add a new page or feature
Below the pencil icon, click the Add (+) icon to:
- Add a new screen
- Add a new feature or flow
- Extend your app without starting over
Video 2: Fixing bugs
This video shows how to review and resolve issues automatically.
When bugs are detected
When Woz finds bugs, the Bug icon displays a red notification badge.
Fixing bugs
- Click the Bug icon
- Describe what you’re seeing (optional)
- Submit the issue
- Woz will apply the fix automatically
You can report both:
- Bugs Woz detects
- Bugs you notice yourself
Undoing edits
If you want to undo a change or revert your app to an earlier version, you can do this using Version History.
How to restore a previous version
- In the top navigation bar, click the Notification icon
- Find the version you want to return to
- Click Restore next to that version
- Your app will be reverted to that state
This is useful if:
- An edit didn’t turn out as expected
- You want to roll back a larger change
Once restored, you can continue editing from that version.
Editing with coding agents (Cursor & Claude Code)
Woz hosts your app’s code in a secure server alongside the proprietary, AI-enabled editing tools that makes our app generation and editing magical. To access your app’s code from outside Woz, we need to establish a secure connection from your computer to a small, contained portion of our server.
Woz supports connecting to:
- Cursor
- Claude Code
- VS Code
These tools let you:
- Inspect your app code directly
- Make precise changes
- Combine Woz’s generation with hands-on editing
To get started, set up a personal account with Cursor, Claude Code, or VS Code. For vibecoders, we recommend Cursor for its robust AI-supported editing capabilities.
