How to Set Up Payments

Woz uses RevenueCat to handle all in-app payments. RevenueCat manages subscriptions, one-time purchases, paywalls, and entitlement checking—all connected directly through your Woz dashboard. You do not need to write any payment code yourself.

1. Open the Payments Tab

In your Woz builder, click on Payments in the left sidebar. You can find the Payments option at the bottom of the left navigation panel.

2. Connect RevenueCat

Clicking on Payments opens the payments screen. If you do not already have a RevenueCat account, go to revenuecat.com and create one before proceeding—it is free to get started. Once your account is ready, click the Connect with RevenueCat button.

3. Authorize Woz to Access Your RevenueCat Account

After clicking Connect with RevenueCat, a RevenueCat authorization page will open. This page shows you exactly what permissions Woz is requesting access to, including:
  • Projects
  • Apps
  • Entitlements
  • Offerings
  • Packages
  • Products
  • Customers
  • Subscriptions
  • Purchases
Click Authorize to allow the connection. This typically takes one to two minutes.

4. Tell Woz How You Want Payments to Work

Once RevenueCat is connected, you will see a confirmation and the Add Payments screen. This is where you tell Woz exactly how payments should be structured in your app. Be specific about your pricing and where the paywall should appear in the user journey.

Add subscription options of $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. Show a paywall at the end of onboarding.

Tip

The more specific you are about your pricing and where the paywall appears in your app, the more accurately Woz will build it. Mention the exact price, the plan frequency, and the screen where the paywall should show up.

5. Use the Ready-Made Prompts in Integrations

After connecting, go to the Integrations tab in the left sidebar and find RevenueCat under the Monetization category. Click on it and you will see two ready-made example prompts you can copy directly into the Woz chat and use straight away. You can copy either prompt as is, or modify it by adding your own pricing and specifying which features you want to lock behind the paywall before sending it to the Woz agent.
